Moving away from the conventional practice of cake decorating, my passion lies within contemporary cake design with an emphasis on modern minimalism, textures, movement and muted tones. I find inspiration all around me and my mind is conditioned to see cake everywhere. Sometimes ideas just come to me, often emerging as I experiment. Other times inspiration is taken from fashion, floristry, ceramics, graphic design, paintings to name a few.
